What You Need to Know Before You Enter Another Country with Your Pets
Pet travel is becoming more popular, thousands of people move to a new country taking their pets with them. So you need to know the process and plan to take care of the details for pet moving months in advance.
Here are a few tips you need to know:
Contact the Consulate for Pet Guidelines
·        Find out about quarantine and other pet travel restrictions; the country that you are travelling to will have guidelines for you to follow, ask the appropriate pet travelling questions and don't wait for the move to become a reality before you check the details.
·        What are the details for quarantine? Many countries still require quarantine periods even though all vaccines have been administered for your pet.
·        What vaccinations should your pet have to travel?
·       How long prior to travelling should you have the pet vaccination administered? You usually want to allow at least 6 months prior to the move or travel date for vaccinations and preparation.
