You are ready to move to a new Country with your pet, so now you are going to visit your veterinary to schedule pet appointments and additional procedures such as pet travel vaccinattions. Here are the questions to ask.
Questions to Ask Your Vet
·        When will my pet need to have its vaccinations?
·        What other vaccinations do you recommend to protect my pet in its new country?
·        When will the vaccination schedule begin? Arrange the following dates for vaccines.
·        What is the best travel carrier for my pet?
·        Can I sedate my pet and which is the best way to relax a pet for travelling?
·        How long can my pet safely stay in its carrier?
·        If my pet needs to be quarantined, what do I need to know?
·        What documents do I need for pet travel?
·        Is my pet healthy enough to make this trip?
·        What is the best way to transport my pet?
·        Can I feed my pet before travelling?
·        Should I put food and water in the carrier for the journey?
·        Should I bring in my pet for a last minute vet check-up before flying?
·        What information can I take for the vet in my new country or place of visiting?
Keep all pet vaccine records. Have all pet travel documents handy to show to the airline, country of destination immigration services to avoid delays and having your pet on solid ground again.
